This is part of the process that is never shown or given enough credit. Tobacco bales are stored and upon arrival from harvest, the tobacco bales come with enough humidity to continue fermenting and not spoil in the process. Furthermore, drying the tobacco fillers to the right humidity is key for the manufacturing process. Ligeros, the top of the plant ,should be the most dry to a point where only master rollers can work with it. Then, the ligero is placed in the center to guarantee a perfect slow burn with Secos, Viso and bolados around with a different amount of humidity.

Continuously, secos, visos and Bolados need some drying process. The right humidity will help with proper aging process and a quality marriage of flavors from the unique blend of different parts of the world.
